The Client Brief
Having previously had their cloakroom renovated by PHS Bathrooms, our client returned to our showroom to seek inspiration for two more rooms to be commissioned – their ensuite and family bathroom.
They explained to Chris, PHS owner and designer, that they wished for their new family bathroom to be two-toned and modern.
Once they had looked around the showroom, to browse all the available products on display, Chris began to create their proposed designs for each room.

Following a home-visit, to get measurements of their rooms, Chris created two designs (one for each room) to present to our client at their CAD meeting. As part of our free design and consultation service, our friendly and knowledgeable design team invite our client’s back to go through their designs in our showroom. These meetings give our clients an opportunity to make any adjustments ahead of their bathroom order being placed.

The Solution:
In their family bathroom, our client wanted a bath with an overhead shower, so in their final design, they opted for the Bette bath to be installed, with an overhead Axor shower system. This particular fitted Bette bath comes in the classic shape with the ergonomic sloping back and is available in lots of dimensions, so even small bathrooms can have a comfortable bathtub. A recess was installed for ample storage in their shower area and this area of the room was completed with a Merlyn bath screen with Mershield Stayclear protected glass and lifetime guarantee.
Throughout the room, light coloured, large format Porcelanosa tiles were installed, as well as dark shade ones to create a contrast adding to the sophisticated, modern theme. The lighter tiles instantly transformed the interior space, elevating the bathroom.
In contrast to the light colours in this room, a wood effect wall hung vanity unit was installed, with a Davroc basin. Above this, an illuminated, touch controlled mirror cabinet was installed, from Hib. A wall hung Axor mixer tap was installed to complete this part of their room.
On the wall to the side of their basin unit, a Jis towel warmer was installed. Around the room, Hansgrohe accessories were installed.
