The Client Brief
The client’s new bathroom journey began by the visiting our Bletchley showroom and explained to our designer, Tony, what they envisioned for their ensuite. Our client wanted their ensuite to have a large shower area, without compromising on other aspects of the room, for example being able to still comfortably fit a bath in there.
During the client’s showroom visit, Tony walked them around, showing them all the available options on the displays and took notes on what they liked/disliked so that those details were put into consideration when he was creating the final design. Whilst the client was in the showroom, Tony took all details of their ideal bathroom features and what they wanted, and they walked around the showroom together to have a look at all the displays and to get a feel of what each of the items and options there were available to them. Tony then arranged a home visit to measure up the room, and to get a feel with the logistics of anything he needed to be aware of when designing the bathroom e.g. plumbing and building regulations.

The Solution:
Following on from the home visit, Tony invited the client back into the showroom to show them the design he had created for them, and for their CAD design. Tony explained a few different options to the client, such as suggesting to them about moving the entrance door to their ensuite to cater for a larger shower area, which is something they had wanted, which would mean there would be no compromises on other fixing, allowing them to have everything they’d asked for in the room. The final part of the design process was for the client to choose their tiles and finishing accessories.
Once confirmed, and the client was happy to proceed, the bathroom was ordered and the installation process was ready to begin.
The ensuite install took two weeks and this included moving the entrance door, which after Tony suggesting to them, the client opted for, and all the electrics and plastering.
The final design the client chose included Laufen sanitaryware and furniture, Aqualisa brassware, a Merlyn Arysto shower enclosure, Porcelanosa tiles, and a Radox/Dasani towel warmer. Other brands used for this project include; Geberit, Origins Living, Roca, HiB and Bette.
