The Client Brief
In this week’s case study, we’re excited to share with you a stunning bathroom renovation created by our designer, Chris, late last year. In the client’s original bathroom, they had a single shower, but the client expressed their wishes for a bath to be included in their new room and to modernise the space without being too bold compared to the character of the home.
After visiting our showroom, the client was able to specify the products they liked, and Chris then created a bespoke design for them. They were then invited back to explore their new space in 3D and discuss any changes they wanted to make.
As explained to Chris, they wanted to add a bath in their renovated room, and therefore opted for the Bette Silhouette bath, as well as still including a spacious walk-in shower.
Their new bathtub had an all-in-one cast mould and beautifully curved corners, making it seamlessly fit into the corner of the room while comfortably resting below the window.
Their new spacious walk-in shower, which comprises a wet room floor, partnered with an Impey shower system and a Merlyn shower screen with flipper panel, created a seamless and modern shower in the remaining space.
The bathroom was completed with large format Porcelanosa tiles in our neutral stone look, adding texture to the space while keeping it feeling bright. The Hansgrohe shower controls were installed outside of the shower for the best user experience, allowing the user to turn the shower on before entering. Continuing with the modern theme, a beautiful Kueco LED mirror was installed above the stylish wall-hung Laufen basin with wall-mounted Axor basin mixers.
This Keuco mirror cabinet has been recessed into the wall, giving the illusion of a flush mirror, and opens to reveal glassed-back shelves, as well as USB charging and a shaving socket. This beautiful mirror showcases slim double-sided mirror doors, allowing comfortable light control for the user to switch between warm and cool light hues. Finally, the towel warmer from Radox was fitted in perfectly with the fresh theme of the room.
