Modern Luxury Ensuite Renovation

The Solution:

With the knowledge that they wanted the bath removed from their room, Chris created an open space in the centre of their room and this made the room feel spacious and airy.  

The darker tiles were suggested to create a modern style to the room, which were specially sourced by PHS for our client – as well as their flooring too.  

A bespoke recessed cupboard was designed to fit in their entrance to their ensuite, with push close mechanisms which meant there was no need for external door handles which would’ve eaten into the narrowest part of their room. These floor to ceiling cupboards created a large amount of storage space with glass shelves and this is also where their underfloor heating controls were hidden.  

In another attempt to create this narrow part of their room to feel more open, a large circular mirror from Hib was installed on the otherwise blank wall opposite the cupboard.  

Throughout the room spotlights were installed. Underneath their vanity unit, downlights were installed which were set up on sensors so only came on when someone enters the room.  

Their vanity unit was from Dansani, and had a lot of storage solutions – which is what they’d asked for. On top of the unit, two basins from Laufen were installed with wall hung Hansgrohe mixer taps.  

Hansgrohe accessories such as a soap dispenser, towel holder and magnified shaving mirror were chosen in the same shade as their brassware around the room for continuity.  

In their shower, a Hansgrohe Rainfinity shower head was installed, as a luxurious addition to their shower. In addition to this, a handheld shower was installed.  

A bespoke shower enclosure door was made by Majestic Showers, as well as a seating area in the shower – to make the best use of the space. An Impey Wetroom was installed, where the flooring was installed in a way that allows the water to naturally flow into the waste drainage system.  

A Zehnder wall hung vertical towel warmer was installed in a matt black shade to match the aesthetic of the room.  

Different levels were installed throughout the room to create zones.  

Our client was over the moon with their new ensuite, and the team were proud of the outcome of this project.
