Downstairs Cloakroom Renovation

Downstairs Cloakroom Renovation

The Client Brief

Our client originally visited our showroom at the beginning of 2020, and as we went into lockdown their project was put on hold. Eventually, as things became normal again our client revisited us to get their project started. In their home, there were four rooms they wanted to be renovated including a downstairs cloakroom, family bathroom, bathroom ensuite and shower-room ensuite. Taking inspiration from the displays in our showroom, our client was able to choose the style of their bathrooms and see them in-person. Chris, our designer, guided our client throughout the process of renovating their four rooms in their house.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be showcasing each of these rooms as part of a series. The first of the series is this stunning downstairs cloakroom. For this room, the design was kept simple, and the space in the room was best utilised. As you’ll see in the following case studies, the theme of the bathrooms throughout the home stayed the same, so there was continuity flowing seamlessly throughout the house room-to-room.

  • Designer: Chris
  • Average Cost: £££
  • Project Type: Supply & Install
  • Turn Around Time: 8 Weeks (for all four bathrooms)

Brands Used

  • Sanitaryware: Laufen
  • Furniture: Laufen
  • Tiles: Porcelanosa
  • Brassware: Grohe
  • Towel Warmer: JiS

The Solution:

In the final design, our designer Chris suggested Ruggine Platino wall tiles, Ferroker Platino floor tiles and Tribal Pearl White tiles for the windowsill all from Porcelanosa. These tiles were used throughout the remainder of the bathrooms too.

Laufen sanitaryware, along with a Geberit flush plate were installed.
A Laufen compact basin and vanity unit was installed with a Grohe mixer tap in chrome.
Finally, a Jis towel rail was installed to finish off this cloakroom.

Throughout this year we have completed multiple bathroom projects, and as mentioned before, we’re now booking bathrooms for next Spring. If you’re thinking of giving your bathroom a makeover, you can reserve a booking to ensure your lead times aren’t prolonged. Visit our showroom to enquire about this service we offer. here.

Keep an eye on our social media pages for the remainder of this series of bathrooms, which will also be featured here as well over the next few weeks.

Brands used in this bathroom: Laufen furniture and sanitaryware, Porcelanosa tiles, Grohe brassware.

For all four bathrooms in this home, they took 8 weeks to complete.
